Congratulations to this week’s winner of the Andover Stash Contest, Allison Evrard. This is what Allison told us about her stash:

Here’s a picture of my Andover Stash.  I’d forgotten I have so much!  It was so obvious as I went through my fabric which was Andover and which was not.  Andover has a very special look and feel to it.  Just beautiful!  And so much more substantial than a lot of my cottons.   I know that when I use a fabric by Andover, the quilt will be well-appreciated by the user.  By the way, the plastic bag is full of Dimples scraps.  I recently made my son a quilt from different scraps I’d picked up at Gail Kessler’s Ladyfingers over the last year or so.  Patrick (my son) has told me over and over how much he loves the quilt.  That’s pretty good for a 34 year old!

Congratulations to this week’s winner of the Andover Stash Contest, Terri Overton. This is what Terri told us about her stash:

I have been quilting for a little over a year.  My husband retired from the military and we moved to a state where I knew only one person.  I took a class at my local shop as a way to meet new people.  The fabrics that I chose for my sampler quilt were predominately Andover and most of those from the Jo Morton line.  I immediately fell in love with the richness of the colors and have been buying that line every chance I get.

The ribboned packs on the left are fabrics I just received and haven’t had a chance to sort yet but some of it will be used with the small stack on top of them.  The large stack in the middle are 1/2 yard cuts from a couple of lines, some sale yardage, and a 3yd cut of the toile from Blue Variety.  The other fabrics I’ve sorted by color since I’ve already cut them and am working with them in other quilts.  I am really looking forward to adding the Dovetails and Savannah to my collection and quilts.

I just recently started quilting and sewing and have fallen in love with the quality of Andover Fabrics especially the Victorian Modern Collection. This fabric is very elegant and with all the coordinating colors to choose from one can come up with almost any designs for all sort of nifty projects. Included picture  is my most recent stash of Andover Fabric, this stash is being used for my most latest project a soon to be beautiful quilt. Thank you Andover.

Congratulations to this week’s winner of the Andover Stash Contest, Debbi Cline. This is what Debbi told us about her stash:

I know that I don’t have the biggest stash, but I absolutely adore Kim Schaefer’s Flower Doodle line. I bought a fat quarter bundle – with a few choice pieces increased to a half yard – to use in the Gen X Quilters Sisters’ Ten Modern BOM. I also have a set of charm squares. A few are Flower Doodle, but most are Kim’s Tic Tac line. I have started to put these into a rainbow shadow quilt and love the look so far! I really enjoy working with the fabric and love to see whatever new patterns you release!
