This Week’s Andover Stash Contest Winner

Patti-Chartrand-stash-contest-winner-website

Congratulations to this week’s winner of the Andover Stash Contest, Patti Chartrand. This is what Patti told us about her stash:

I love Andover fabrics because your quality is always the very best.  And my favorite designer, Jo Morton, designs for you!  I’ve been collecting Jo’s fabrics for years – ever since she first started designing fabric.  My true loves are 19th century quilts, and I can recreate them beautifully with her fabrics.  I keep them in a special place in my stash – separate from all other fabrics – and pull from them first when I start designing a quilt.  Here is a picture of my Jo stash – minus all the newest fabrics that still need prewashing before being put on the shelves.  The little blue tray holds precious Jo scraps. Thank you for helping me make fabulous quilts, Andover Fabrics!

Patti will be receiving an Andover Fabrics prize pack to add to her wonderful stash.

We will be choosing another winner next Monday, so send a photo of your stash to stashcontest@andoverfabrics.com and tell us why you love the fabric.

We’ve seen so many great stashes already, so even if your submission wasn’t picked this week, stay tuned!

This is the neatest stash I have ever seen. I have a 2 door cabinet that was a closet that has been turned into a fabric cupboard. I have Andovers and other fabrics that I love, some from way back in 1998. I just want to commend this person for the neatness, fine pressed, orderly. I had to tell her how impressed I am, not that it would change anything. Congratulations, that should have won a stash just for the neatness. Thank you for posting.

looks just like my local shop….LOL; seriously, i am also a lover of jo’s fabrics, have already pre-ordered my “savannah” and have my baby emma wallhanging in progress! love, love, love jo morton fabrics! i was completely oblivious to civil war repros a mere 2 years ago, but after taking her class at maine quilts a couple of years ago, now half my stash is repros AND mostly jo’s fabrics! my maine pal cyndi black makes sure i keep current with all jo’s luscious fabric lines!
